Here's what the new plants look like - they were everywhere:
The flowers are actually very nice - I have white, pink and a fuschia. But after they bloom, then the plant really starts looking old and brown, and they send their seeds out to create new volunteers.

Here's the pile of what I pulled out. Raymond took 4 loads of the wheel barrow and dumped them down the hill.

Even found a black-eyed susan that had bloomed and was hidden underneath the lambs ears. You can also see it peeking out in the picture above of the other flowers.





Looks like a day well spent - sometimes it is a curse having such a great growing season

Yup - the wet spring really created a forest of those things!
DeleteIt can get messy and uncontrolled, but it's not lamb's ear. Lamb's ear is controllable and I can give you some. Their flowers are like tall individual stacks. What you have there is rose campanula.
